Introduction
Some people call/refer to it Kashmir Housing Society) was established in 1980 and registered in 1981 with the Islamabad Cooperative Department under the Cooperative Act 1925.
It would be an injustice if I couldn’t mention the names of the pioneers of this housing Society: Mr. S. A. Majeed (Ex-Executive Secretary), Mr. Siraj-ul-Islam (Ex-Secretary), Mr. Muhammad Akram Shah (Ex-Chairman), and Mr. Abdul Rabbani Khan (Ex-Vice Chairman and Former Additional Accountant General of Azad Jammu & Kashmir), to name a few.
Its registered office is at the Community Center Building, Jammu and Kashmir Co-operative Housing Society Ltd, Sector G-15, Main G.T. Road, Islamabad, Pakistan.
Since the inception of Jammu Kashmir Society in 1980, the management of Jammu Kashmir Housing Society has remained committed to developing new projects for its members.

Community Center
The Society has a Community Centre in G-15 Markaz, Islamabad.
It has a marriage hall, a mini-mart, and a sports club. The society office has been shifted to this Community center.
At the outset, they had offered plots to all the Azad Kashmir CNIC holders and govt employees.
Later, the then management decided in its meeting to offer plots to everyone. Keeping in view the demand for real estate on the market.

F-16 Latest News
At first, the CDA office was slow to process the approval of the LOP for sector F-16. Some residents are currently illegally occupying a substantial area in subsectors F-16/3 and F-16/4.
Further, allottees of the Khayaban e Kashmir Islamabad F-16 sector have been formed to solve this problem. However, no tangible progress has been made to date.
The recently elected (MC) management committee is paying heed to get rid of allottees from the issue.

Now, they issue transfer letters.
Who is the current chairman ? Do they have an active website ?
Mr. Rana Irfan is present chairman of jkchs.
What is the update for jkchs zone 5 I bought plot in 2015. When development will be started and when I will get possession.
