B 17 is developed and managed by the Multi-Professional Cooperative Housing Society (MPCHS).
It is registered with the Cooperative Department, ICT, Islamabad as per the “Cooperative Societies Act of 1925“
The layout Plan (LOP) was approved on 27-09-2006 and issued an NOC by CDA on 30-01-2008.
It is one of the growing housing schemes in Islamabad and a famous housing society. Residents enjoy facilities and a peaceful environment in this picturesque community.

NOC Status
Capital Development Authority (CDA) Islamabad installed the green light. On January 30, 2008, CDA issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for this project.
The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has approved building a school in Multi-Society Islamabad.

History
In 2006, MPCHS submitted a Layout Plan (LOP) to the CDA for this project Phase-1.
That said, the project was of 3 blocks named A, B, and C.
Multi-Gardens Phase-1 spread over 7673 Kanals and had 4670 residential plots on G.T Road, just a kilometer from the Taxila bypass.
MPCHS started phase two of the project, comprising block C-1 extension, block D, block E, and block F.
MPCHS launched its new sector block G near the motorway in 2018.
Blocks
It is interesting to mention that:
Block A of B17 is the A-17 sector of Islamabad.
Block C is technically the B-18 sector of Islamabad, and only block B is the B-17 as per the official layout plan of Islamabad.
The best part is? As you can see on the map, Block D is in B-18, whereas Block E and F are in A-19.
Projects Linked
An extremely vital aspect of this housing project is Margalla Avenue, which will connect sector D-12 Islamabad to G.T. Road.
In addition, as per the Rawalpindi Ring Road, B17, Islamabad gets easy access to Rawalpindi.
Development Progress
Around 700-800 houses have been constructed in the project area. A network of well-paved roads links every block of the community.
After completing the development works, residents live in Blocks A, B, C, D, E, and F.
Block G is the newest block in society, and development has yet to begin in the area.

I was booked and paid my all dues in year 2012. for plot (size 50×90) in Block D Street 80.
